My husband and I have stayed here many times, and we have never been dissapointed. Rooms are modern and very clean, though the water and towels tend to have a slight chlorine "pool water" smell. All rooms have a kitchenette, as well as plates and utensils. The area is very quiet, and feels more safe compared to some of the other motels i have seen in PG. There is a large parking lot, which was very convenient when we came with a trailer. There is also a plaza next door with some restaurants and a gas station.
This place is quiet, clean, pet-friendly, big rig-friendly, and decently priced. It's my family's motel of choice in Prince George. I took one star off for location since it's fairly far away from most of the city. You'll want to drive or take a bus to get anywhere beyond the motel's immediate vicinity. That said, the Westgate Mall (SmartCentres Prince George) is a short drive away, so shopping is fairly close by.
What can one say but fantastic. And even that isn’t enough. The staff here are AMAZING. Very accommodating and helpful and super friendly. I work overnights when I come through PG and never have an issue getting a room, and getting checked in. And they don’t disturb at all while trying to sleep through the day. Rooms are cozy and very clean. (Big thanks to the cleaning staff). I highly recommend the Bon Voyage to anyone.
We had our company Christmas party here this year. The service was on point, the food was delicious and served hot. There was lots of space for everyone at the tables and even had enough space to dance. Needless to say, we booked that night for next year’s Christmas party.
I love this place. Truly pet friendly, affordable, simple but very clean and well maintained rooms. Comfortable beds, no weird smells. Very quiet. It's a 2 star but if you've stayed in many of them before, this one is a cut above.
Excellent location and plenty of parking. Convenient to the restaurant in the parking lot and other amenities around. Not far from the city of Prince George.
